A tabby cat nicknamed "Skinny" in Dallas, Texas, USA, once weighed 18.6 kilograms. After a veterinarian formulated an exercise and weight loss plan for it, it has now lost 10 kilograms and has become a living signature of the veterinary clinic.

According to reports, the tiger cat named "Skinny" was abandoned as a stray cat in 2012. It was later found on the streets of Dallas and sent to an animal shelter. At the time, it weighed 18.6 kilograms.
Veterinarian Brittney Barton adopted this super fat cat in 2013. She developed a weight-loss plan for it. After nearly 2 years of exercise and a special diet, it has now reduced to a slim figure of 8.6 kilograms.
Barton said that "Skinny" is the "resident cat" in her clinic. He hangs around the clinic on weekdays and goes home with her on weekends. He has just completed his annual physical examination and is in excellent physical condition.
18.6 kilograms is approximately equivalent to the standard weight of a 5-year-old boy published by the World Health Organization (WHO). Barton said the "skinny" example was proof that it was supposed to be a big cat, not a chubby, fat cat.
