What are the reasons why cats vomit severely after getting rabies vaccine? The reason for vomiting after a cat after getting a rabies vaccine may be caused by allergic reactions, physical discomfort, or hypoglycemia after vaccination. Usually, some discomfort symptoms will occur after vaccination, such as fever, rash, diarrhea or vomiting, but these are normal phenomena and will generally disappear within a few days. If the condition continues to worsen, it is recommended to seek medical examination as soon as possible.

If the cat vomits yellow water after receiving the rabies vaccine, it means the cat is not very adaptable to the vaccine and has an allergic reaction. Cats are allergic to vaccination, and possible symptoms include: diarrhea, vomiting, shock, epilepsy, coma and sudden death.

Minor diarrhea and vomiting may last for 1-2 days, which is a normal vaccine reaction, so don't worry too much. If the cat has severe allergic reactions, such as muscle tremor, unstable gait, redness and swelling throughout the body, the owner needs to take the cat to a doctor for treatment immediately.
