According to the "Sun" report, Bruce recalled a past event after the 2014 FA Cup final when participating in a podcast.
In the 2014 FA Cup final, Arsenal coached by Wenger faced Hull City coached by Bruce. Arsenal came back from 0-2 behind to win the championship 3-2, ending the championship drought for many years.
Bruce recalled: "The funny thing is, I remember having a cup of tea with Wenger after the game and he said, 'Steve, if I lose today, I think I'm done.' We were 2-0 up and I thought it was our turn and we had given everything."
