In the fifth round of the UEFA Champions League, Almaty Kairat lost 2-3 to Copenhagen. 17-year-old Satpayev scored his first goal in the Champions League.
In the 81st minute, Satpayev stole Copenhagen goalkeeper Kotarski in the frontcourt and easily scored an empty goal. Satpayev also became the first Kazakhstan player to score a goal in the Champions League history. He will join Chelsea next summer.
