Manchester United's former player Lee Sharp was interviewed recently. He believes that Onana will not return to Manchester United.

Lee Sharp said: "I would be very surprised if Onana returns to the club after leaving the team on loan in the summer. Mens seems to have occupied that position now. I don't think Onana will be willing to come back as a substitute. I don't think we can see Onana at Old Trafford anymore."

"Lamens has made some great saves for Manchester United and looks very clinical. I've seen some comparisons to Peter Schmeichel, but Schmeichel is clearly not calm!"

"I see similarities between the two in terms of his ability to save and the way he controls the penalty area. He is not afraid to attack and intercept crosses, just like Schmeichel did. I actually see a combination of Schmeichel and Van der Sar in Ramens. He has Van der Sar's calmness and temperament, but also has Schmeichel's saving ability and goalkeeping skills."

"I hope that no matter what happens to him. For Manchester United, this is not a flash in the pan, but it can be sustained. He has to remain stable, but you can already see the confidence he brings to the back line. He has kept clean sheets and saved some shots that other goalkeepers may not have saved. I hope he can continue."
