German media Bild reported that Premier League team Brighton is about to sign Frankfurt U21 goalkeeper Niels Lamin, and the transfer has almost been completed.

Previously, German media "Absolut Fussball" had reported that Brighton wanted to sign the 18-year-old Swedish goalkeeper with a transfer fee of 850,000 euros. Bistro pointed out that the deal has almost been confirmed. With the negotiated bonus, Frankfurt may even earn up to 2 million euros from Lamin. In addition, Frankfurt will also receive a 10% second transfer share for the player.

Lamine previously played for Frankfurt U21. The team was relegated from the regional league in the just-concluded season. He is also the fourth goalkeeper of Frankfurt First Team and was on the roster in the team's UEFA Europa League last season.

Due to the excellent configuration of the goalkeeper in the Frankfurt first team, especially the 22-year-old Santos has already secured his position in the goal before his injury, Lamin has almost no chance to gain a foothold in the first team in the next few years. For him, his only option here is to play in the state league for the youth team. This situation makes him eager to leave the team this summer, and his current contract has the last year left.
