Sharp: Amad struggles with Amorin, Casemiro and Menu are a good combination

Manchester United former player Sharp said that Amade played very "struggle" under head coach Amorin and believed that the continuous change of positions this season "disrupted his rhythm."

How do you view Amad’s role and performance this season?

When you play as a winger and have to start defending from your corner flag zone, this will consume some energy and make it difficult for you to do the same on the offensive end. He was our best offensive player early last season, but then he was injured. I think it's not good for a player like him to play No. 10, wingback, and other positions. This will make you lose your pace. He is a wing player, so it is very difficult to recruit as a No. 10 player. This did not do him any good. He was definitely affected by Amorin's formation.

His running coverage is excellent, and that's not a problem. I think his most suitable position is to attack the third zone of the offensive, dribbling the ball to attack the opponent. I feel that letting him play wingbacks, he can't display his talents as often as he should.

What do you think about Casemiro and his partner in the midfield with Menu?

I think Casemiro has improved a lot at the end of last season. He has become healthier, or has changed something, hasn't he? He looks like he is completely two players from the beginning of the season. He is still a top player, can predict the ball path very early and does a very good job of interception. I think he would be a good partner around Menu, but I do think they need another person to help him.

Whether it is a central defender who needs to step forward, a full-back who takes in, or a No. 10 player retreats. I think Casemiro and Menu would be a good combination, but you can't let the two of them go against three or use a compact four-man midfield like Manchester City did. They are easily at a disadvantage in numbers and easily bypassed.

I think Casemiro is the kind of defensive player who can get Menu forward and play a bigger role in the offensive third zone. This would be a great combination, the question is just how you arrange the location of the B fee. I might choose Casemiro over Ugat.
