According to the Sun, Leicester City is preparing to pay 500,000 pounds to Queen's Park Rangers, inviting Spanish coach Marty Cifuentes, who had previously worked for Queen's Park Rangers, as the new coach.

43-year-old Sifuentes, from Spain, left last month after coaching for the Queens Park Rangers for two seasons. As part of the resignation agreement, Sifuentes' new owner must pay a compensation to Queens Park Rangers, and Leicester City is also preparing to do so, and Sifuentes may be officially appointed within a few days after paying the compensation.

Cifuentes signed a long-term contract with Queen's Park Rangers last September, but he left after leading the team underperformed. Leicester City believes that under the leadership of Sifuentes, the team will be able to return to the Premier League. The club has started pre-season preparations and is currently led by Andy King temporarily.
