TA: Manchester United originally planned to play in Kai Tak, but JJ Lin didn t have time to lay the grass when she held a concert a week ago

Manchester United ended their post-season tour, and The Athletic Manchester United team reporter Laurie Whitwell posted a message to talk about some of the situations in this trip.

The situation is similar to that of Kuala Lumpur. In the match with the Hong Kong team in China, the stadium was not full. The main reason is that some seat tickets are too high and that the current team is not as attractive as before. The most expensive seat ticket is HK$2,900 (equivalent to £280), and the stadium with 40,000 people was three quarters long. In 2013, the same seat ticket priced at the same venue was about 70 pounds.

Nigel Lee, secretary of the Hong Kong Branch of the China-Hong Kong Branch of Manchester United's official fan club, said: "The tour is going to be held immediately after the season, which fully illustrates our financial situation. We knew the game would not be very exciting, and later when we saw the fare... we can only say that we thought the pricing was very bold."

Manchester United originally planned to play at Kai Tak Stadium because it was a brand new modern stadium with a capacity of 50,000 people. However, because famous singer JJ Lin booked the venue in advance and held a concert a week before the competition, officials felt there was not enough time to re-lay the turf.

After losing 0-1 against the ASEAN All-Star team, Manchester United players once laughed at themselves on the bus, saying that: "Only after such a season can we lose in the post-play friendly match and be booed by our own fans." Fortunately, the team did not repeat the same mistakes against the Hong Kong team in China.

After the game, Amorin faced four British reporters who came to report on the Asian tour, saying, "I won't see you for two months, I will miss you every day." Then, with a strong sense of sarcasm, "See you in two months."
