There are media reports that Liverpool is interested in Newcastle star Anthony Gordon. He and Reds midfielder Curtis Jones were childhood friends. Both of them were training at the Liverpool Youth Training Academy. Gordon was terminated by Liverpool at the age of 11, and then he went to Everton.
Gordon said in an interview with England team training: "We were almost inseparable at that time! We were always together except for bathing or sleeping in their respective rooms. We didn't like to go back to our rooms, which almost formed our rules. Therefore, during training and meetings, neither of us would stay in our rooms, but would stick together. Sometimes we would sit together and chat for hours, and sometimes we would tease others together."
