Neville: Yorke s chances at Arsenal are not enough to score 10 goals, and Cesco passes 10 goals

Gary Neville was speechless by Ian Wright's remarks about Manchester United's new aid Cesco. The Slovenian striker joined Manchester United from Red Bull Leipzig for a base transfer fee of £66.4 million (with an additional clause of about £7.6 million). In the "Stand to Football" podcast, Neville conducted an analysis.

Neville mentioned: "We don't know much about Cesco. Obviously, we have seen some of his performances. The centers brought in by Manchester United have not adapted well in the past six, seven or eight seasons. He will definitely be under pressure, and Hoylen is still in the team."

Wright then responded: "There is another thing that he is worth noting that he scored 13 goals in 33 Bundesliga appearances last season. Marmush had already scored 15 goals before leaving in December. This shows that as a striker, he should score more goals at that level. I think like Yorke, he has good abilities and physical fitness, and I think he can score 15 goals."

Neville went on to say that if Cesco scores "10 to 13" goals and Mbemo and Cunha can contribute another 25 goals, it would be a successful result. However, Wright once again questioned Neville's point of view, pointing out that he had higher expectations for Yorkress.

Wright said: "What if Cesco scored only 10 goals? Seriously, what if he scored only 10 goals? You just mentioned that Yorke may have scored only 10 goals, but now I think Cesco scored 10 goals is OK."

Neville tried to explain that Yorke was older, but Wright didn't buy it. Neville tried to continue saying, "I think 10 goals..." and then he fell into silence himself.

When Wright turned to Carroll, Jill Scott and Roy Keane, Neville said: "I hesitate because I was thinking about how Cunia and Mbemo would perform. If he could score 10 goals and the others each contribute 12 goals, then the three of them would be quite considerable in total."

When Wright asked further why he thought that 10 goals in Yorke was not enough, Neville replied: "I said that because I think Arsenal will create more opportunities. They will have more offense. They are a better team. Yorke will play in a better team and he will get more opportunities. Cesco will not get as many opportunities as Yorke. That's what I think."
