Announcement is as follows
We have reached an agreement with English League One team Luton on Josh Keelly's transfer.
Josh Keelly joined the Tottori Academic Academy from St. Patrick Athletic in July 2022 and immediately participated in the preseason in South Korea with the first team. In the summer of 2023, he went with the team to Australia, Thailand and Singapore for pre-season preparations.
In the first two seasons after joining, Josh Keelly was a regular player in our U21 echelon, and then joined Barnett on loan in January 2024.
Last season was a pretty successful season for Josh Keelly. He joined Leiden Oriental on loan in August 2024 and played 36 games for the team, completing 16 clean sheets, including 660 consecutive minutes of goals in December.
Josh Keelly scored a goal against Oldham in the second round of the FA Cup, making headlines; then performed a hero again in the third round of penalty shootout, helping the team advance to the fourth round against Manchester City. Leiden Oriental finally reached the League One promotion playoff final, Josh Keelly started against Charlton, and the team lost 0-1. His performance was recognized, winning three awards at the end of the season at Leiden Oriental, including the best goal of the season.
Josh Keelli has played for the Irish U17, U19 and U21 teams. He was selected for the Irish adult national team for the first time this summer, participating in a friendly match against Senegal and Luxembourg.
We thank Josh Keelly and wish him all the best in the future.
