The Daily Mail reported that Manchester United's Carrington base has been upgraded and will reopen on August 8.

Manchester United's Carrington training base has completed a £50 million upgrade and will be officially reopened on August 8.

This year-long transformation project aims to create a more top-level training and rehabilitation environment. The actual progress is earlier than the original plan and will be put into use 11 days before Manchester United's home match against Arsenal in the first round of the new season.

The first team has shared training facilities with the women's football team and youth training echelons over the past year, and used a temporary gym built with indoor courts, but they will soon return to the renovated base camp.

Insiders revealed to the Post that during the use of temporary facilities by the men's football team, the infrastructure of the women's football team and youth teams has also been upgraded and optimized.
