woolen coats?
Wood coat is my favorite style of clothes, so how should we maintain and clean the wood coat? Let’s learn with the editor below!
Daily maintenance
We should not put any items in our coat pockets, and we should take them out quickly even if they are put. We should clean up every day whether there are any debris in our pockets, such as some impurities that are accidentally dropped in. Why? Mainly, these items are placed in your pocket, which can easily cause some pigments and dust to enter the hair fibers, which will make the clothes dirty over time. When you are not wearing a tweed coat, you should hang it in a ventilated place. The environment is best to be dry and clean. Every time you hang it up, you can gently pat the surroundings of the tweed coat and pat the dust mixed in the hair fibers.
Should I wash it?
For some woolen coats with a wool content of more than 50% or more, it is best not to wash them with water, because they may shrink and become smaller as soon as they are washed, and may even shed hair. Moreover, these coats can be washed without being washed frequently. The best way is to send them to the dry cleaner and iron them flat.
Treatment of small-area pollution
If you accidentally contaminate a small piece, first use a clean and dry towel to gently wipe the contaminated area, then soak a clean towel in warm water (30-50 degrees), and then twist until it does not drip down. Cover the contaminated area, then gently pat off the contaminated area of the coat so that the impurities and dirt are absorbed by the towel. After the absorption is clean, you can iron it appropriately, and be careful to iron it along the hair fibers. Then dry it in a ventilated place.
Water-based stains
If there are water-based stains such as tea and coffee on the clothes, you can first put a dry towel under the stained coat and then use a dry towel to suck it, because the towel has a strong water absorption, so that the stain will not spread. Then you need to constantly wipe it so that the area of the stain is slowly reduced and then wash it with neutral detergent when you go home.
Stubborn stains
For stubborn stains that are not easy to clean, you can wash them with a cloth dipped in vinegar or lemon juice. Because only acid can dissolve these precipitated pigments. If there are still stains, wipe it repeatedly with a cloth sticking to a neutral detergent, and then wash the detergent with clean water.
The editor’s long-winded words: Don’t think that you can just let it be handled by buying a good piece of clothing. This is not possible. The woolen coat is hairy than other clothes, so when cleaning, you should avoid mixing with other clothes. It should be noted that if the woolen coat is well washed, it can keep warmer. Generally, you can wash it with water or not pay attention to the maintenance of the woolen coat. Then the woolen coat is no different from ordinary clothes.
