How to wash jeans so as not to fade?

Do not dry clean or machine wash for the first time

Everyone must have an impression: the jeans are washed and dried and then taken out and then taken out. In addition to the reason why you use laundry detergent, there is also a layer of glue on the denim. Therefore, try not to use machine washing or dry cleaning when cleaning the first time. It is best to wear it on your own body. This way, cleaning the jeans will make the jeans more in line with your leg shape and the effect will be better. After cleaning, hang it in a ventilated place and let it air dry on its own. For newly bought jeans, you can soak them in concentrated salt water (just as long as the salt water tastes salty), and rub them with your hands after a whole day, and do not wash them with your hands. When washing, if you can turn the inside out and then clean and dry it, it can also minimize the degree of fading.

Fold the jeans and put them in the laundry bag (or use hand washing). Please use dishwashing agent (because the laundry detergent is generally used to have a whitening effect). The ingredients contain a little bleach, so jeans are prone to fading. The dishwashing agent does not contain bleach. In addition to having a clean effect, it can also remove oil stains. Jeans or other new dyed clothes contain a layer of glue (the smell of new clothes). After buying it, you can soak it in white vinegar first to make the clothes soft and prevent fading. For jeans that are not too dirty, just use a detergent to wash them. Try not to use laundry detergent. Generally, laundry detergent contains a certain proportion of bleach, which can easily fade the jeans. Also, please turn the jeans over and clean them, which can effectively extend its life.

Small taboos for cleaning jeans:

1. Please do not soak your pants in hot water, as it will shrink to a large extent. Generally, the water temperature is around 30 degrees. If conditions permit, please do not wash jeans in a washing machine, as it will destroy the wrinkles of the pants. When you touch the pants' pants, the natural whitening of the pants will become unnatural. Do not iron and keep the pants natural.

2. Hang it from your waist, turn it over and dry it in a dry and ventilated place to avoid exposure to the sun, which can easily cause severe oxidation and fading.

3. To keep the jeans strong, do not add softeners or bleaches when cleaning, and do not need to iron them after drying. Ironing until the bones are raised is even more taboo.

4. If you want to dehydrate, you also need to turn it over and dehydrate it. Don’t take too long, it will take one minute.

5. Second-hand jeans should be worn more and washed less. If you want to clean them, you should not use ordinary washing powder, as they will impregnate the color of the pants. Add a spoonful of coarse salt to the water, soak it for a day and then wash it with water. It can remove the stains and will not fade the pants.

6. Jeans should not be twisted after cleaning. When it is still dripping, put the coat rack and dry in a ventilated place.

7. If you want to make some fading marks, you can use a brush to make several minutes when cleaning.

8. Generally, jeans can be washed with water. Pull up the zipper and buttons to turn the pants inside and out (can reduce the color discoloration), but some brands need to be dry cleaned, otherwise they will shrink. Therefore, you must read the label before washing.

Tips: It is best to put salt when washing jeans for the first time, because jeans are easily faded if they are washed frequently and reduce their lifespan, so add some salt. Jeans are not easy to get dirty and do not need to be washed regularly. If you wash too much, it will turn white and the cloth will easily break. It’s enough to wash once or twice a month in spring, summer and autumn. In the whole winter, you only need to wash twice or three times. Many friends put it in the washing machine to wash when they have a little sweat. In fact, this will cause great harm to jeans. Try to clean them once every 6-12 months. If you sweat a lot in summer, you can hang your jeans in a ventilated place and spray some water to let them dry in the wind, so that the sweat on the jeans will not smell.
