Type has made a strong decision to gradually withdraw from the 6-inch crystal circular manufacturing business, and will not affect previous financial goals. Taiwan Power previously estimated that the US dollar harvest will grow by about 30% this year.
Taiwan has four 12-inch ultra-large crystal circular factories, four 8-inch crystal circular factories and a 6-inch crystal circular factory. Taiwan Electric and its subsidiary have an annual management capacity of nearly 17 million chips in 2024 as 12-inch crystal circles.
